Electric Vehicle Survey
A PhD research student, Thomas, from the University of Sheffield has been in contact with us, calling on our help with his research on car usage and electric vehicles in rural areas. Thomas has a short survey he needs responses for, to try and understand how cars are used in our rural community and our views towards electric cars, amongst other things. Vacancies
Wetton Parish Council has vacancies for:1 Parish Councillor. Open to residents of Wetton and Ecton over the age 18. Duties include attending an evening meeting every six weeks to help make decisions on matters concerning Wetton and Ecton. Please apply in writing/e-mail to the Clerk or Chairperson AS SOON AS POSSIBLE outlining why you would like to be a Councillor and what you could offer the council.
Village Defibrillator
The village defibrillator is on the wall outside the Royal Oak pub. The code to unlock the cabinet is C123X. Please make a note of this in case you should ever need it.
The emergency services know the code and will tell you it if you ring 999. The number of the cabinet is written on the box which may help them to locate the code more quickly.
